We will be running the 2015 iolite workshop in conjunction with the 2015 Goldschmidt conference in Prague, CR. It will be held on the weekend before the conference, and will include the basics of how to use iolite, along with in depth tutorials on how to use the trace elements, U-Pb geochronology, and imaging data reduction schemes. It is suitable for users ranging in experience from absolute beginners to intermediate users.
Dates: Saturday 15th of August (9am – 5pm), Sunday 16th of August (9am – 3pm, plenty of time to get to the ice breaker)
Venue: Charles University in Prague
Cost: $300AUD (~€200) for both days ($150AUD/~€100 for students). Sorry, no single day rate. Students, please bring your student ID card with you to the workshop.
What to bring: A laptop with mouse and power cable. The screen resolution should be at least 1280 x 800. Please note that windows 8 machines may have screen resolution issues (minor). Pens and paper.
