    Dr Bence Paul

If you want to write your own DRS (or AddOns etc) for iolite 3.x you’ll need to know how to write code for Igor Pro. Here is a great starting point for learning how to code in Igor:

Payam Minoofar’s introduction to Igor Programming

Igor is not just for running iolite: it is an excellent data analysis and visualisation platform, ready to make journal-quality plots with just a few clicks of the mouse, or even better, a few lines of code (to keep everything reproducible, and you can copy and paste for all your plots).

If you have any other coding tips, tricks or resources, feel free to post them in this topic.
